MPD’s part number BA4D-S is a battery holder that accepts four D-cell batteries in a series configuration with an output of 6 volts when using standard alkaline cells. The holder is made from black polypropylene offering good stiffness, heat resistant, and is rated for food contact. The BA4D-S has a UL94-HB flammability rating and a temperature range of -10°C to + 100°C. The spring contacts are nickel-plated stainless steel, spring steel eyelets with nickel plating. The BA4D-S easily replaces the 6 volts lantern battery that is hard to find and makes it easy to use any lantern.
